LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Tickets are now available for the University of Louisville Men's Basketball Tipoff Luncheon to be staged on Thursday, Oct. 27 at the Grand Ballroom of the Louisville Downtown Marriott.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and lunch will be served at noon for the event, which will feature comments from UofL Head Coach Rick Pitino.

Tickets are $45 each and may be purchased through the "My Cardinals Account" link at the top of www.GoCards.com, or specifically at this link:  https://oss.ticketmaster.com/aps/uofl/EN/link/buy/details/16tipoff   There is a limit of two tickets per account for the luncheon.

The Cardinals are ranked among the nation's top 25 in early preseason rankings.  The team made its first appearance in a public instrasquad scrimmage on Wednesday, with the Red team claiming a 105-102 victory in the rapid-paced game.  The Cardinals will play their final Red-White scrimmage presented by Mark's Feed Store on Friday, Oct. 21 in the KFC Yum! Center at 7 p.m.

Tickets for the scrimmage are on sale for $10 at the UofL Ticket Office, located near Gate 2 of Papa John's Cardinal Stadium at 2800 South Floyd Street. The ticket office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.  Cardinal fans may also purchase the tickets by visiting Ticketmaster online at www.Ticketmaster.com, calling 1-800-745-3000 or by visiting any Ticketmaster Ticket Center, including statewide Kroger locations. Convenience fees are applied with Ticketmaster orders.

Tickets are available for UofL students to each scrimmage at no charge. Student tickets must be obtained with a valid student ID in advance at the UofL ticket office.

Mark's Feed Store will sponsor a coat drive at the scrimmage, with fans encouraged to bring a new or gently used coat to donate.  Collection areas will be available at the arena entrances.
