GREENSBORO, N.C. – Four University of Louisville men's basketball student-athletes have been honored on the 2021-22 All-ACC Academic Men's Basketball Team.

Louisville's Sydney Curry, Dre Davis, Noah Locke and Jarrod West are among 37 ACC men's basketball student-athletes recognized for their academic achievement as well as their on-court performance.  Louisville's four selections matched the second-most honorees on the 2021-22 team.  Davis earned the honor for the second time.

He matched a season-high with 18 points vs. Miami and scored eight at Wake Forest.  Davis, who earned a perfect 4.0 GPA for the Fall 2021 semester, was named to the Baha Mar Hoops Bahamas Championship All-Tournament team with his defensive efforts contributing to the honor.

A 5-11 graduate transfer from Clarksburg, W. Va., West was fifth in the ACC in assists-turnovers ratio (2.38), 17th in steals (1.4) and 21st in assists (2.9).  The Cardinals' co-captain produced 1,400 career points and 517 career assists over the last four years at Marshall (2017-21) and Louisville in 2021-22.  He was third in the nation in career steals among active players in 2021-22 with 298, including 44 in his 32 games at Louisville. He had six games this season with three or more steals.  He scored a season-high 20 points with four steals and three assists vs. Georgia Tech in the ACC Tournament first round on March 8, making 4-of-6 three-pointers.

Louisville has received an NCAA Public Recognition Award seven of the last eight years for ranking among the top 10 percent in men's basketball in the Academic Progress Rate (APR), which measures academic eligibility, retention and graduation for student-athletes.
