The No. 3 Cardinals are coming off a 71-65 win over Notre Dame on Sunday. Lone senior Dana Evans led the way in the win with 27 points and five assists. She scored the final five points, including a deep 3-pointer with 56.7 seconds left to close the door on a late Irish push.

On Monday, Evans was named ACC and espnW Player of the Week after averaging 26.3 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.0 rebounds over the last three games. It marks the second time this season that she has been named ACC Player of the Week.

UofL is 56-6 (.903) in ACC regular season games over the last four seasons. They are 29-4 (.879) in home games and 27-2 (.931) in road games. The Cardinals are 62-8 (.886) in ACC regular season and tournament games combined.

ABOUT THE YELLOW JACKETS

Georgia Tech enters Thursday's game 11-4 overall, 9-3 in ACC Play. The Yellow Jackets had a seven-game win streak snapped in their last game on Feb.7, losing 61-52 at home to Wake Forest. Georgia Tech is ranked second in the ACC in scoring defense, limiting their opponents to 60.8 points per game. They lead the ACC in league play, allowing 62.3 points per game. Offensively, they are slated 11th, scoring 68.5 points per game. Junior Lotta-Maj Lahtinen is a do-it-all player for the Yellow Jackets, her team-high 15.9 points per game ranks sixth in the ACC. The Helsinki, Finland native also averages 5.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 35.6 minutes per game. Her 32 total steals on the season tie Boston College's Marnelle Garraud for the conference lead. Senior forward Lorela Cubaj is posting a double-double on the season with 13.1 points and 12.0 conference-leading rebounds per game.

Series History - UofL is 7-0 all-time against Georgia Tech and all seven meetings have taken place since the Cardinals joined the ACC. Louisville is 3-0 against the Yellow Jackets at the KFC Yum! Center and 3-0 in Atlanta. Last year UofL won 58-47 in Atlanta and in 2018-19, Louisville won 74-71 at Georgia Tech as Myisha Hines-Allen's layup with two seconds to go gave them the victory. The first meeting between the two teams came in the Cardinals' ACC debut where they defeated the Yellow Jackets 75-48 on Jan. 2, 2015 at the KFC Yum! Center. In the seven meetings, the Cardinals have defeated their ACC opponent by an average of 17.2 points per game.

The Last Meeting (Feb. 20, 2020) -  Jazmine Jones scored 18 points, Dana Evans added 14 points and Louisville won 58-47 at Georgia Tech. Kylee Shook added 13 points and 13 rebounds for Louisville. Led by their three upperclassmen, the Cardinals had too much skill and depth with the ACC's top offense and No. 3 defense. But it was Louisville's perimeter defense that really shined, holding the Jackets to 1 for 12 on 3-pointers. Georgia Tech was just 29.8 % from the floor overall.
