Dana Evans Named Naismith Trophy Semifinalist

Evans is a semifinalist for the Naismith Trophy for the second straight season.

ATLANTA (March 2, 2021) – The Atlanta Tipoff Club announced today that University of Louisville senior guard Dana Evans is one of 11 semifinalists for the Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy for Women's Player of the Year.
 
It marks the second straight season that Evans has been named a Naismith Trophy semifinalist. She is one of two players from the Atlantic Coast Conference, joined by NC State's Elissa Cunane.
 
Earlier today, Evans was named Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year for the second straight season.
 
On March 15, the Atlanta Tipoff Club will release its four finalists. The 2021 Naismith Trophy winner will be announced the week of March 29.
