With the tie, Louisville moves to 7-6-2 on the year and 3-5-1 in Atlantic Coast Conference play, while Clemson moves to 10-5-1 and 5-3-1 in the ACC.

The Tigers outshot the Cardinals 9-2 in the first half and Louisville went into halftime trailing 1-0.

Just 20 seconds into the second stanza, Nina Nicosia delivered a through ball into the box, Alexander beat the Clemson goalkeeper to it and her diving kick found the back of the net for the equalizer.
