
Kennedy Named a PING All-American Honorable Mention

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville men's golfer Max Kennedy was named a PING All-American Honorable Mention, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Kennedy flourished in his third season in the program, guiding the Cardinals to a trip to the Morgan Hill Regional and seven top-five team finishes in 2022-23.
Posting his best season, Kennedy led the Cardinals with a 71.30 stroke average, the sixth-best mark in school history and was responsible for eight finishes in the top 15.
An All-Atlantic Coast Conference honoree, Kennedy recorded seven-straight top-10 finishes over the course of the season, including his first collegiate win at the Aggie Invitational. He won the event by carding a personal best 7-under-par 209. The native of Ireland also registered his best finish at the ACC Championship this season by carding a score of 5-under-par.
Kennedy was also tabbed to the Walker Cup's International Team that will compete in June.
In three seasons, Kennedy owns eight top-10 finishes and has recorded a solid 72.40 stroke average.
