"Karsyn is one of the best defenders I have seen in her age group and I'm thrilled to add her to our roster and have the opportunity to coach her.  She is a gifted athlete, excellent in the air, and is extremely difficult to beat one-on-one. She plays for a great club team in a very good region of the country where she will continue to develop until she arrives on campus at Louisville." – Louisville head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes

"Karsyn is the epitome of stealth. She handles her responsibilities without a peep and then out of nowhere she arrives with a moment of brilliance that leaves a massive impact on the game either in the defensive end or in the attacking half. She does what she does with a smile on her face" - Paul Dolinsky, club coach

Addie Chester
Forward, Midfielder | 5-7
Hometown: Muncie, Ind.
High School: Delta High School
Club Team: FC Pride

Chester recorded a whopping 59 goals during her junior season, which stands as an Indiana state record for goals in a season. In four seasons at Delta, she recorded 201 goals and 36 assists, including 19 assists during that remarkable junior year. She has earned several accolades, including All-District, All-Conference and Gatorade Player of the Year.

"Addie has a very dynamic attacking presence and I believe she has the skill and ability to make an immediate impact on our program. She has a savvy about her in the final third and will create scoring chances for both herself and her teammates. She will enroll in college this spring and that will certainly help expedite her transition to the demands of the college game." – Louisville head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes

"Addie is a once in a lifetime athlete that all coaches only hope to get. She not only has competitiveness, but ability and regardless of the circumstances she faces, she never quits and always gives it her best every game. She will be irreplaceable and will go down as a legend here at Delta." – Brytany Pope, Delta high school head coach

Erynn Floyd
Goalkeeper | 5-8
Hometown: Wilton, Conn.
High School: Wilton
Club Team: CFC

Floyd was a four-year starter at goalkeeper for Wilton High School, finishing with 35 career shutouts. As a senior team captain in 2020-21, she recorded 12 shutouts and allowed just three goals all season. She helped lead her team to the state quarterfinals in both 2018 and 2019.

"Erynn has a very strong foundational level for a young goalkeeper. She is a sound shot stopper and has a presence that is uncommon, yet very necessary in the ACC. She has the promise to be a good collegiate goalkeeper. I'm excited to see how she develops under the tutelage of Nick." – Louisville head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes

"Having Erynn is like having an extra coach on the field. I think she is a natural leader. She's been doing it since she was a freshman. It comes natural to her. She understands her position and she understands the game well. Why we don't give up goals is not just because she makes the big save, it's also how well she organizes the defense to prevent the opportunities." – Renato Topalli, Wilton head coach

Mackenzie Geigle
Forward, Midfielder | 5-5
Hometown: Raleigh, N.C.
Club Team: NC Courage

Geigle comes to Louisville after participating in a 10-month program for her club team, NC Courage. While playing for NC Courage, she made the U19 2nd All-Conference team.

"McKenzie is a tireless worker who epitomizes what it means to be a selfless teammate. She can play in the midfield or as a forward and is equipped to do both well. She thinks and studies the game and that will certainly help in her transition to the collegiate level." – Louisville head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes

"Mackenzie is a player with a great attacking quality. She is technically proficient and someone who in the final third can cause a lot of problems for the opposition. She is dynamic with her movements and plays back to goal well where she can link with players joining through the thirds. We look forward to seeing her growth in the ACC and with the Louisville women's soccer program."

Riley Goss
Midfielder | 5-7
Hometown: Suffolk, Va.
High School: Nansemond River
Club Team: Richmond United

Goss played high school soccer at Nansemond River and earned several accolades, including First Team All-District and Second Team All-State.

"Riley is a central midfielder who is comfortable and competent on the ball. She is very committed to being the best soccer player she can be and I'm excited to have the opportunity to work with her." – Louisville head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes

"It's easy for players with lots of talent to dominate in easy situations, but it takes a true toughness, determination and hard work to excel in more dynamic and talented environments. Riley is one of the hardest working players I have ever coached and through her work ethic she has not only overcome vast amounts of adversity during her young playing career, but she also is able to raise the work ethic and level of play of the players around her." Michael Swerda, Nanesmond River High School head coach

Emerson Jennings
Forward | 5-3
Hometown: Noblesville, Ind.
High School: Guerin Catholic
Club Team: Indy Fire

"Emerson has an electric level of pace that will make her difficult to defend at the college level.  She likes to run at you one-on-one with the ball and does a great job of getting herself in the final third of the field.  Emerson is good in front of goal and in wide areas is a good crosser of the ball. I'm excited to watch her develop into a dangerous collegiate player." – Louisville head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes

"Emerson has worked hard for this opportunity and we are excited to follow her next four years of soccer. She certainly has a gift in what she can do on the field and now she gets the chance to do it at the highest of levels. We wish Emerson the best of luck." –Gary Yohe, club coach

Evelyn Pazienza

She has had a wonderful high school experience where her team competes yearly for state championships and plays for a tremendous high school coach. I'm excited to work with Evelynn and see what she can do at the collegiate level." – Louisville head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes

"Evelyn is one of those rare players that combines the best of physical ability with an amazing team first mentality. She has outstanding pace on the wings and is always working to set up her teammates by getting in behind the defense. She will fight to the bitter end for her team, and will celebrate the successes of her teammates as if they were her own."

I'm excited to see Emma Kate transition to the college game." – Louisville head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes

"Emma Kate is a very strong and athletic midfielder with a very gifted right foot which can be used for scoring goals from a distance or finding target players. She is well prepared for the college game and possesses a very high soccer IQ. She will be able to adjust to any situation or system that is presented to her. One of my favorite qualities is her honesty. Her ability to work with others for the greater good of her team is going to prove vital in the long run. She's not only a good player, she's an even better person." – Garvin Quamina, Concorde Fire Platinum head coach

"Emma has been an impact player in our program. She competes like a lion in every game, using her strength and athleticism as well as her refined techniques and creativity to help her team be successful. Her willingness to sacrifice her body is an inspiration to her teammates and a benchmark to our team culture.  She steps on every blade of grass in a match, defends like a brick wall and still has the skill to put in assists and goals on the other end." – Vince Hayes, Mill Creek High School head coach

Lizzie Sexton

"Hadley is a physically gifted defender who will compete to play both centrally and wide for us.  She has grown up in Louisville and has always wanted to be a Cardinal so we know that she is prideful in her affiliation and will be eager to play in front of a hometown crowd. Hadley has a tremendous upside and I'm excited to have the opportunity to coach her." – Louisville head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes

"Hadley has steamrolled opponents with both her intuitive sense for the game and her steely work ethic. No one's effort is going to outshine Hadley's, and she does it all with a smile on her face.  Her love for the game and for her teammates helped us create a positive culture of winning and Hadley's contributions to our multiple State Cup championships and Regional successes were substantial. She is a soccer junkie and a lifelong Cards fan.
