Cards’ Will Stream Men’s Basketball Virtual Tipoff Luncheon on Friday

Event will air at noon on Friday, Nov. 13 on the UofL Athletics Twitter and Facebook accounts
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville's annual men's basketball tipoff luncheon presented by Clark & Riggs Printing, will be available for Cardinals fans in a virtual format this year.
With the COVID-19 pandemic limiting in-person events, the Cardinals' annual luncheon, which had been planned to be staged at the Galt House Hotel this year, will be streamed live on the UofL Athletics Twitter (@GoCards) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/GoCards) accounts at noon on Friday, Nov. 13.
UofL graduate Luke Hancock, an analyst with the ACC Network who was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2013 NCAA Final Four as a student-athlete with the Cardinals, will serve as host for the event, which will include interviews with UofL Head Coach Chris Mack, co-captains Malik Williams and Carlik Jones, as well as comments from UofL Vice-President/Director of Athletics Vince Tyra.
Louisville opens its 2020-21 season 12 days after the virtual luncheon, facing Southern Illinois on Nov. 25 in the KFC Yum! Center in its first game of the Wade Houston Tipoff Classic.
