"Peyton is a bull in a china shop. She is a complete attacker that can feed and drive and has tremendous offensive instinct. She picks her times to attack and reads the play well. She has a really high lacrosse IQ." – Louisville head coach Scott Teeter

She led Long Island in scoring as a freshman, which is a feat in its own as Long Island is a very offensive minded area. Why Marissa Chose UofL: "Great academics and athletic opportunities."

"Marissa is probably one of the hardest working high school players I've ever come across. She definitely puts the time in. She really doesn't have the sport of lacrosse in her high school but makes up for it with her work ethic outside developing her stick skills, which are phenomenal. I love the creativity piece, but her work ethic is second to none coming out of high school." – Louisville head coach Scott Teeter
